TMR901 is an easy to use device that lets you read the registration number (ID-Code) of Dallas Semiconductor's Touch Memory Button / iButton.
An iButton can be used as a key or identifier that is guaranteed against duplication.
Each iButton has a unique, unchangeable,serial number.
Because no two buttons can ever have the same registration number they can be used for various identification purposes (objects, people etc) or for automated password entry and other applications such as Retail POS (Point of Sale).
The TMR901 will read the registration number of all Dallas Touch Memory iButtons manufactured, regardless of their model number.
